Hydrafacial FAQs
Can I combine my HydraFacial with other treatments?
We have many patients who choose to add other treatments to their HydraFacials. These can be combined within the same office visit. You may wish to consider BOTOX®, facial fillers, or adding a laser peel to your initial facial treatment. Talk to Dr. Navarkal and our team here today to learn about which combination of treatments can provide you with your ideal results.
How often should I have one?
These facials are designed to be treated as often as your skin needs a little help. Often, here at Mountain Med Spa, our patients schedule their HydraFacials in advance for every few months. You can choose to have traditional facials in between treatments if your skin needs the extra boost.
Should I choose a HydraFacial over a chemical or laser peel?
When choosing the treatment you would like, it is helpful to keep in mind the different purposes each of these facial options serve. All of these treatments serve to address various skin irregularities and can be combined throughout the year to address multiple skin concerns. You may be most interested in a HydraFacial if you are looking for a treatment that can be added to your routine and requires little to no downtime on your end to achieve clearer, boosted skin.
Can HydraFacial be combined with other procedures?
While the HydraFacial can be used to enhance other treatments (like a facelift), it should be completed on its own and not in combination with other procedures.
Is there anything I should avoid after getting a HydraFacial?
While we will go over post-op instructions with you, some common instructions you will receive include:
- Avoid the sun, sauna, or beach for about 48 hours after treatment
- Do not apply makeup up to 12 hours or otherwise suggested by our team
- Wait at least six hours to wash your face
